The Problem
Fox Point Farm brings together 7 artisans to deliver an array of refined experiences, from curated meals to yoga classes, all in one place. Because this is a concept many people haven’t seen before, it was essential for us to create a cohesive brand that resonates with locals and visitors alike. We hit the ground running on getting people stoked for their closed-loop business model of cutting out the middle-man and connecting producers directly to consumers.
The Approach
Their MO is sustainability, community and creating great experiences on-site through talented artisans, rather than outsourcing materials and supplies. Once we got to know this incredible team and their goals, we created a brand that will grab the attention of the local community and beyond. Creating a successful brand starts with defining a strong position that serves as your true north for all things brand, marketing, and sales. We focused on the idea of being a resilient, artisan-crafted community that inspires people to move towards a more inclusive future. This is achieved by cultivating community through hyper-local, dedicated experiences. We collaborated with Todd, their graphic designer, and Brian to bring the brand to life—from logos and typography to colors and overall art direction.
We created unique textures for each artisan, visually representing their craft. We also developed rustic illustrations that enhance the brand’s story, focusing on three categories: food and drinks, artisan tools and materials, and farm elements. A custom typography combination was selected to reflect both the artisans’ strength and the business’s friendly nature. Finally, the brand book included a color palette inspired by the fresh food, natural landscape, and materials used in the architecture.

Next, we crafted the brand voice, aiming for a tone that is inspirational, polished, and experienced, yet down-to-earth, family-oriented, and approachable. We wrote their manifesto to reflect their mission of building deeper community relationships through radical promises. The message was clear—food should be fresh and accessible, people kind and nurturing, and business practices transparent and resilient.
We also developed a complementary short-term mission and long-term vision that demonstrated the business’s commitment to its community. We provided a series of punchy living lines to share the brand’s message, core values for the team to live by, and defined their unique brand value propositions. Finally, we crafted messaging that introduces each artisan’s craft, using captivating titles and bullet points to excite future visitors.

We aimed to create a large range of touchpoints through which our audience can interact with the new brand. Crafting these in a consistent manner was an extremely important step in shaping consumer perception of Fox Point Farms and establishing its credibility. They include a mixture of the brand elements on a variety of materials that feel cohesive in their applications.
This began with a compelling billboard to attract visitors. We also created business cards and apparel for the team to rep the brand in addition to coasters that can be used on-premises. We also created a rack card for the team to utilize along with email templates and signatures—all essential pieces to creating that initial brand awareness. Throughout many of these touchpoints, you’ll see custom design elements.

Our developers were thrilled to build a custom website for Fox Point Farms using React and Next JS, marking a first for the team. With this cutting-edge technology, we created a lightning-fast site that delivers an exceptional user experience. The site is optimized for conversions, featuring custom integrations with third-party platforms like EventBrite.
The website’s simple navigation allows users to explore the nine artisans based on their interests—whether eating, drinking, creating, or gathering. It invites visitors to connect with the brand through elements like the brand voice, design, and typography. With easy access to the farm’s address and event details, locals are encouraged to visit.
